Clare Morrison is a photographer and writer based in Victoria, B.C. She is motivated by the elements and rawness of Vancouver Island, and finds the natural world to be a constant source of inspiration for her work. Her experiences working on many different bird conservation projects around the world, as well as her current part-time employment in toxicology with Environment Canada, has helped shape her goal of raising awareness of environmental issues through the mediums of photography and writing.
Having been lucky enough to spend many summers watching birds in the high-Arctic, and a couple summers canoe tripping in the mid-Arctic, the northern bug has managed to securely lodge itself in her system, making the Arctic a continued focus as well.
